Named after the classical goddess of strategic warfare, wisdom, and heroic endeavour, ATHENA is a suite of Ministry of Defence (MoD) information products that allows greater access to the scientific and technical knowledge held by the MoD.rnATHENA is funded by the Defence Technology & Innovation Centre (DTIC) and managed by the Defence Sciencern& Technology Laboratory (Dstl) to provide the MoD with a central repository for storing Science and Technology (S&T) related reports.
