A CASA in point

At the 24th Air Transportation Base at Prague-Kbely in December 2010, the Czech Ministry of Defence (MoD) formally took delivery of four CASA C-295M tactical transport aircraft. In a procurement programme that extends back to its original Memo of Understanding in 2008, the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company is, through the Airbus Military manufacturing facility in Spain, initially providing four versions of the twin-turboprop, including aircraft in passenger and medevac configurations.
