In DMJ Issue 51, in an article entitled 'The wake up call',1 Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Director General Air Marshal Timo Anderson talked to Editor Anthony Hall about safety reforms in defence aviation following the Haddon-Cave report and the creation of the MAA. The Air Traffic Management Division (ATM Div) is a department within the MAA Operations Group based at the Ministry of Defence Ensleigh near Bath, who are responsible for setting regulation and assuring that all defence ATM activity is conducted safely and in accordance with regulation.
