Dear Readers, A few months after the 9/11 tragedy almost every major city controlled by the Taliban had fallen and the leaders of the terrorist groups were on the run. The entire world believed that the Americans and their Afghan allies had won the war in Afghanistan. However the Taliban were not eliminated and today they still remain a potent force that continues to fight and launch deadly attacks, causing considerable coalition casualties apart from civilians.
