Nestle Pakistan enjoys 'white revolution'

The Pakistani Zarai Taraqiati Bank (ZTBL) and Nestle Pakistan have signed an agreement for the development of the dairy sector in the country.rnAccording to the agreement, both ZTBL and Nestle Pakistan will provide five billion rupees (€90m) for five years until 2011 to finance 10,000 animals each year for dairy sector development under ZTBL's "white revolution" scheme. Shahab Khawaja, secretary at Pakistan's ministry of industries, production and special initiatives, said at the signing ceremony that the move would develop the dairy sector, increase milk production and help stem rising milk prices.
