Testing expanded in Kettering

Sealed Air hasofficially opened its European Dynamics test centre in Kettering, UK. The centre is the packaging company's third test site and will be the base for Sealed Air's protective packaging business in the UK. Shock and vibration testing will now be offered at the site.rnThe company installed the shock-testing machine after receiving it from one of its sites in Holland. A random vibration machine has also been installed at the site. While mainly producing packaging for products in the medical, food and computer sectors, Sealed Air also has the capacity to produce packaging for dairy products. "This is specific to our European network in that they can utilise this new equipment. If they have customers who want to do any enhanced testing then they can come here," comments Jim Barker, European package design and development centre manager.
