DOC Kaas plans for new direction in 2013

Dutch DOC Kaas dairy announced the failure of planned cooperation with Fonterra for marketing synergies worldwide.Meanwhile, Fonterra and A-Ware say they are going ahead with their plan for a shared 80,000 tonnes per year cheese factory plus a new food ingredients work, both to be sited near the Friesian town of Heereveen and going into action at the end of 2014. A-Ware has just announced that it has landed a supply deal with regional cooperative NooderlandMelk.
