German dairy group Jermi has had a change in management, as Karl Eismann has taken over the position of managing director and COO. He is now responsible for production, technology, supply chain and quality management areas of the business. He was formerly MD at Hochwald Foods. German dairy Uelzena has bundled its sales activities in the dairy products business segment for the baking trade, with the merger of Trilactis and Hoche Butter. Until recently, Uelzena Group was active in the butter and butterfat market as well as the cheese segment for the bakery and butchery trade and related wholesalers, via Trilactis and Hoche Butter. The Hoche Butter section will now be responsible for sole distribution within the Uelzena Group to customer groups in the baking trade, specialist wholesaling, fresh food services and the centres of food retailing.
