Personality Differences between Online Game Players and Nonplayers in a Student Sample

This study examines the differences in openness, conscientiousness, and extraversion betweennonline game players and nonplayers using a student sample. The matched sample comprisedn130 pairs of students, who are paired in gender and age. The results indicate that online gamenplayers reported higher scores in openness, conscientiousness, and extraversion than did nonplayers.
