African Languages Literature: Childish and Immature? The Case of Two Contemporary isiZulu Novels

African languages literature has been accused by some scholars of being ‘childish’ and ‘immature’, and a number of factors have been suggested as causes for this. In this article I explore this issue using two novels published post-apartheid.
