CQ World Wide WPX CW Contest Highlights the Contest Calendar

The last weekend in May is Memorial Day weekend for most families in the U.S. For many CW contesters worldwide, however, that weekend is reserved for the CQ World Wide WPX CW competition. In the February column (at p. 105), we briefly discussed some aspects of the WPX SSB and CW contests. Since the CW portion runs at the end of this month, we take a look below at participation and awards in all three of the CQ World Wide WPX contests (SSB, CW, and RTTY).
