A number of members are concerned that CE Marking will not be enforced. Below we will explain why we are confident that it will be enforced. Building products are CE Marked under the Construction Products Regulations (CPR), the UK CPR of 2013 enforces the EU CPR of 2011 and was laid before Parliament on 7th June 2013, Coming into force on 1st July 2013. Article 4.3 says: A person who supplies a construction product to which the CE marking has been affixed in breach of any provision of Article 8 or 9 of the 2011 Regulation shall be guilty of an offence.
