摘要

The corrosion kinetics of alpha-phase pure titanium tube was studied in an autoclave. The average corrosion weight gain was 1.36 similar to 1.67 mg/dm(2) x month. The corrosion weight gain curve followed a quasi-parabolic law. The corrosion kinetics model was established and the relationship between the thickness of the oxide film and the corrosion time was expressed. The morphology, chemical composition profile and phase composition of the surface and cross section of the specimens were studied by SEM, EDS and XRD. The oxide film thickness was calculated from oxygen profile.
