Rapper Lil Wayne Settles Rolling Stones Copyright Suit

Lil Wayne has removed the song "Playing with Fire" from his recent album "Tha Carter Ⅲ" after a copyright infringement suit was filed against the rapper by the owner of the Rolling Stone's music catalogue.rnAbkco Music, which owns part of the Rolling Stone's catalogue, sued Wayne along with record companies UMG Recordings, Warner/Chappell Music, EMI and other parties, in July 2008. Abkco accused Wayne of using portions of the Stones' song "Playing With Fire" without permission.rnThe group initially granted Wayne permission to sample the music, but later relented upon deeming the newer version "explicit, sexist and offensive." The lawsuit was filed after the song was put out on Wayne's album anyway.
