Lilly Settles With West Virginia In Zyprexa Suit

In another settlement of allegations about its marketing and promotion of its antipsychotic drug Zyprexa, Eli Lilly has agreed to pay West Virginia $22.5 million. Lilly, which denied all allegations of wrongdoing, has agreed not to make any written or oral claim that is false, misleading or deceptive about Zyprexa (olanzapine) or promote the product for off-label uses, as part of the consent judgment that was unsealed recently.
