Recent advances in organometallic chemistry: 2008

In 2000 we initiated a series of biennial special issues of Coordination Chemistry Reviews containing short review articles on aspects of both main group and transition metal organometallic chemistry of current interest. The current special issue is the fifth of this series; the previous such special issues appeared in 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006.
