摘要

We consider the classical static output feedback problem and several related regional pole placement problems for single-input single-output systems. In these problems, one seeks to find a range of output feedback gains so that the closed loop poles are placed in the open left half plane or in a subregion. We propose a method for solving this class of problems. Our method is based upon several classical stability tests, and it amounts mainly to computing generalized eigenvalues of certain matrix pencils.
