Why can't buildings and products be made to last longer? Environment concerns did not just creep up on the construction industry. They came over the horizon many years ago and gained momentum gradually. Now, being environmentally friendly has replaced political correctness. There are still enough smoke and mirrors to make it safer ground to lay claim to than health and safety in terms of company policy. The fact that clients are increasingly selecting suppliers based on their green credentials - and the expense that is arising from employing eco-friend-ly solutions - we should make sure we get it right.
