Losses on a number of energy contracts were blamed by Daniel Contractors for a 70.6 per cent drop in pre-tax profit and a 22.7 per cent fall in turnover in 2009.rnAccounts filed with Companies House last week showed the firm's turnover was ￡141.7 million in the year to 30 September 2009, down from ￡183.2m the previous year. Pre-tax profit fell to Elm from ￡3.4m the year before.
