The government has grand ambitions for construction. It says it is radically overhauling procurement to help cut the cost of public buildings by 20 per cent as part of the Construction Strategy. Based on the KPI data from Glenigan and Constructing Excellence it should be pretty pleased with itself. Not for the first time they show the importance of modern and enlightened procurement practices.
