When an NHS trust goes into 'administration'

In July, the former health secretary,AndrewLansley,put South London Healthcare NHS Trust "into administration", the first time that this has happened to an NHS Trust. What does this mean for contractors waiting to be paid for works procured through Procure 21+ or otherwise? Firstly, the media is using the term "in administration'' because Mr Lansley appointed a trust special administrator to manage the trust temporarily. But this is a very different process (and outcome) from the administration regime that applies to businesses.
