Six fight for £4.35bn of defence work

Six bidders have been shortlisted across three defence estate management contracts worth up to £4.35 billion. The Defence Infrastructure Organisation's regional prime Central, South-east and Southwest contracts have been whittled down to three or four teams in each category. This is a major step forward in procurement of the huge deals since a list of almost 60 interested bidders was released in April.
