BalfourBeatty scoops £100m of office contracts

Britain's largest contractor Balfour Beatty has confirmed the award of three commercial office contracts worth a total of £100 million. Balfour Beatty revealed this week that Viridis Real Estate Service had awarded it a £25m contract to build an 11-storey office in the City. The company also confirmed contracts for the £57m Sixty London scheme and £l8m Buchanan Street in Glasgow, revealed by CN late last year. All three projects are due for completion in 2013 while the two London schemes will use building information modelling and offsite prefabrication.
