The infrastructure hub South West Scotland Ltd has appointed Morrison Construction to build two new school campuses in Scotland. Galliford Try's Scottish arm will build two new school campuses in deals worth almost £50m. Morrison Construction will work on the Greenfaulds High School in Caumbernauld, worth up to £26.5m, and the Clyde Valley School Campus in Wishaw, worth up to £23.3m. A start date for construction is still to be confirmed. A consortium of Equitix Holdings, Galliford Try Investments, John Graham Holdings and Kier Project Investments was named preferred bidder for the hub in August 2012. The consortium, Alliance Community Partnerships (ACP), will deliver more than £500m of public sector infrastructure projects for South West Scotland's 18 hub clients over 10 years.
