Three left on £745m Scottish roads job

The number of bidders for the £745m Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route and A90 Balmedie-Tipperty schemes has narrowed after Scotia Roads Group withdrew for "commercial reasons" while two other teams have changed delivery partners. Scotia Roads Group - made up of Bam PPP, Costain, Iridium and Sir Robert McAlpine Capital - was one of four teams invited to take part in competitive dialogue in May but has withdrawn from the bidding process.
