Balfour Beatty chief executive Leo Quinn has revealed the final cost of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) far exceeded £lbn and was more than double the initial budget. In a presentation to analysts last week, he said: "It was a PPP, which was sold for £533m and, I think, delivered for £1.2bn."
