Doosan talks the torque with new excavator

Doosan has continued the roll-out its Stage 3B machines with the introduction of its emission compliant DX420LC-3 crawler excavator plus 14 tonne and 16 tonne wheeled excavators (DX140W-3 and DXl60W-3).The new 42-tonne class DX420LC-3 gets a 270 kW engine which provides 19 per cent more power and six per cent more torque than its predecessor. This boosts arm and bucket digging forces to 18.6 tonnes and 25.2 tonnes respectively, while lifting capacity increases to 17.33 tonnes (at 6m) and drawbar pull rises to 34.85 tonnes.
