Land Sees outlines de-risk focus as it targets pre-lets

Any new Land Securities ievelopments are "likely to require pre-lettings",the developer has said, as it prepares to enter a period of de-risking and being "disciplined" about the schemes it builds. Land Securities said the most complex aspects of its construction programme in London would "shortly be behind us and we will move into the de-risking phase of the cycle". It pledged to focus on letting its speculative developments and having "relatively long lease lengths across the office portfolio" as the London office cycle peaks.
