Constructing Better Health has come a long way since its inception in 2001. Originally started as a pilot scheme to assess the work-related health of the construction industry, it has developed into a national membership scheme that champions improved work-related health for the UK's construction workforce. CBH is a unique non-profit resource in the UK construction industry. During 2014/2015 with rising emphasis on improving work-related health standards in construction, CBH has had an even bigger role to play in enabling this change. While site safety statistics have improved dramatically, work-related health still has a long way to go. CBH is committed to raising awareness of construction worker health issues that go undetected and providing a means by which affected workers do not slip through the net.
