Parliament firms asked to extend revamp bids again

Firms battling it out for the £4bn revamp of the Palace of Westminster have been asked to extend their bids for a second time after the snap general election posed further delays. CN has learned that the parliamentary procurement and commercial service for the Houses of Parliament has written to firms shortlisted for the programme, project and cost management services asking them to agree to extend the bid validity period on the tender.
