Highways England has awarded a contract worth up to £270m to Ringway for road maintenance and upgrades in the South-west. The award is the largest of a number of 'asset delivery' deals in the region under the £15bn Roads Investment Strategy to improve and maintain the UK's motorways and major A roads. Highways England will take direct responsibility for routine maintenance and delivery of capital renewal schemes under the asset delivery set-up.
