Residential scheme set to become Liverpool's tallest building

Designs have been revealed for a PRS scheme that would become Liverpool's tallest tower. Ovatus 2, situated close to Liverpool's world heritage site, would include more than 450 privately rented apartments. Pre-application consultation documents revealed that the proposed height of the building had been increased from 40 to 42 storeys, which would make it two storeys taller than Liverpool's current highest building, the £35m West Tower completed by Carillion in 2007.
