Northern JV to spend £335m on new homes

A joint venture of 10 housing associations in the North and the Midlands has announced plans to deliver nearly 3,000 homes. JV North, which includes organisations from Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham and Preston, will invest £335.5m in a four-year programme. The consortium received a grant of £83.7m from the Homes and Communities Agency's Shared Ownership Affordable Homes programme, and will invest £248.2m of its own money into the project.
