Bullock gets new Balfour role

Balfour Beatty UK construction services chief executive Dean Banks is to be replaced by rail and utilities boss Mark Bullock. Bullock (pictured) took up the post this week. Banks will stay on until the end of the month for a handover before moving to a new job with a different firm in Australia. In a message sent to staff and seen by Construction News, Balfour Beatty chief executive Leo Quinn praised Bullock's "outstanding leadership" and paid tribute to his role in increasing employee engagement, financial performance and customer satisfaction since 2018. Bullock joined Balfour Beatty in 2012 as managing director of its UK rail business.
