Concrete specialist MPB Structures has seen its revenue jump by a third, to £120m,for the year ending 30 June 2019. This was up from the £92.5m it brought in the previous year, while pre-tax profit increased from £4m to £5.3m. Pre-tax margin was maintained alongside the growth and rose marginally, from 4.3 per cent to 4.4 per cent. Director and founder Michael Boyle attributed the revenue and margin improvement to the company's diversified portfolio of work. MPB delivers concrete frames in the commercial, residential and railway infrastructure markets. The Midlands-based specialist is Working on a number of major high-rise and infrastructure schemes in Birmingham, as well as big projects in London, including Battersea Power Station.
