Swansea Arena scheme finally gets go-ahead

Swansea Council has approved funding for the £120m Swansea Arena project and wider city centre regeneration. In February, Buckingham Group was appointed as principal contractor on the development, to carry out works for a new 3,500-capacity arena, coastal park, retail and commercial space, as well as homes in the area.
