Galliford Try has been appointed to two AMP7 frameworks run by Southern Water worth £240m to the firm. The contractor has secured the role of delivery partner on two design and build frameworks, which start in 2020 and will run for five years. The Southern Water AMP7 framework covers capital investment schemes including water and wastewater treatment works, as well as the creation of pipelines and pumping stations in western and eastern regions, as part of a joint venture with Morrison Utility Services. It will also collaborate with engineering firm Black & Veatch on upgrades in the western region.
