nmcn is split into two operations of water and the built environment, with the latter faring badly over 2018 and bringing down its overall profit for the year ended 31 December 2018. The water business performed well, however, pulling in £244.5m of its £340.5m in total sales for the year and generating £8m of its operating profit, compared with a £95k loss from nmcn's built environment division.
