The trust overseeing the stalled Royal Liverpool University Hospital build is no longer giving a timeframe for its completion. Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust interim chief executive Peter Williams said he did not want to raise expectations by speculating. After original contractor Carillion went bust in January 2018, Laing O'Rourke was lined up to take over in March, but was not appointed until October last year.
