In October, CE asked survey respondents: DO YOU THINK THE '' INTRODUCTION OF THE EURO HAD BEEN POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE OVERALL? As was the case a year previously, the answer came back strongly in favour of the single European currency, with more than three quarters saying it had been a good move. It is interesting that the positive camp has grown from a year ago, when 70% held this view. This may be because a year ago the Euro project was in jeopardy from the default in Greece and sovereign debt problems in other peripheral economies.
