Stage IIIB-compliant models

New Holland Construction's 200 series skid steer loaders now include three Tier 4 Final/Stage IIIB-compliant models, including the new L216. The company said the next generation of skid steer and compact track loaders maintained the same compact dimensions of the previous models while delivering more power and torque than ever before. The two mid-size models of the New Holland Construction skid steer loader range meet the Tier 4 Final emission standards with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC)-only solution that the company claimed delivered considerable benefits in fuel saving, performance and maintenance convenience. The L220 model has a four-cylinder, turbocharged 49kW engine which is said to deliver a 12% increase in power, and it is tuned for a 22% boost in peak torque to 208Nm and a rated operating capacity of 905kg.
