Roadtec's RX-600e is a Tier 4-lnterim half-lane cold planer with a 620-horsepower Cummins engine. It features CAN-based electronics with onboard remote diagnostics, and joystick steering enables operators to steer the machine with one hand while signaling trucks with the other. Unit is available in three- or four-track versions, with maximum working speeds of up to 127 feet per minute and 163 feet per minute, respectively. The RX-600e offers cut depths up to 13 inches and 86 inches, depending on the cutter drum. Front load-out conveyor can be positioned up to 60 degrees on either side, making the machine more flexible, the company says.
