Molds Can Move Side-to-Side

The GOMACO 4400, capable of accommodating both under-machine and side-mounted barrier molds, allows molds to be moved side-to-side, using hydrauli-cally powered mold-mounting beams that can extend 36 inches to the right or left side of the machine. A four-way hydraulic positioning system facilitates precise placement of the 16-inch-diameter conveyor. GOMACO barrier/parapet molds feature a stainless-steel trailing edge for improved finishing. The 4400's new G+ speed dial turns to adjust in 1-percent increments, and, says GOMACO, a speed display feedback allows for smooth speed control. The proprietary G+ controls also coordinate hydraulic fan speed with engine and hydraulic oil temperature.
