The demands and specific needs of confectionery production, similar to other industrial food production sectors, have to be key features when weighing equipment is considered. Strict cleanliness and enhanced durability is key, as is speed, accuracy and flexibility. French confectionery manufacturer Chocmod was faced with several issues when it came to maximising productivity and flexibility in the production of its highly esteemed Truffettes de France chocolate truffles. The company installed an Ishida RS Series multihead weigher in response to continuing high demand for the truffles, particularly in the US and Canada.
