The fourth year of ProSweets has come and gone and despite two fairly slow days, the 325 suppliers saw more than 19,000 trade visitors, which, compared to last year, was a significant increase in numbers.rnTorben Erbraht, the managing director of BDSI, notes that while confectionery fared batter than the food sector, the only segment that gained in 2009 was the salty and savoury snacks sector. "In 2010 we may not see production or value increases but we believe that a stable level can be reached."
