Forming and extrusion cover a broad spectrum of applications. In the following, we will only dwell on the continuously forming of strands or slabs of materials on a common working width, between 300 and 2000mm, on food production lines. Forming systems can be split into two groups 1. Pressure-less continuous slab forming 2. Extrusion of continuous ropes of different shapes based on the nozzle design under pressure.
