About 35,000 trade visitors from 140 countries visited ISM in January including top decision-makers from national and international retail businesses. Dr Hans-Peter Friedrich, Germany's Federal Minister for Nutrition and Agriculture, opened the fair. A total of 1,476 exhibitors from 68 countries provided an international line-up. Among them were market leaders as well as small and medium-sized suppliers.
