Happy New Year!

Another busy month draws to a close and a new year is about to dawn. Looking back at the final big trade event of 2013, from planting my very own cocoa tree to tasting caramel coatings and delicious almond-containing creations, November's Food ingredients Europe was truly a feast for the senses. With so many new products and innovations on display, there was lots to see and discover. There were so many exhibitors relevant to the industry in attendance that unfortunately we weren't able to meet everyone we would have liked to see, but hopefully we provide a 'flavour' of the event on pages 8-9.
