With all the factors that have been discussed promoting the sales of dark chocolate and consumers becoming increasingly accustomed to its more bitter taste, it will be interesting to see the knock on effect of the changing taste of Indian consumers from sweet to bitter in other forms of confectionery and sweets. Only time will tell if this will be far reaching.
