Construction companies do not often have an opportunity tornconstruct their own building. However, one such occasion was the Zueblin building in the Vaihingen district of Stuttgart, Germany. Ed. Zueblin AG is among the largest German building construction and civil engineering contractors, with branch offices and numerous associated companies throughout Germany and abroad. Around 18 years ago, Zueblin AG appointed Cologne architect Professor Gottfried Boehm to design a new administrative headquarters, housing approximately 700 employees.
